About the restaurant:
From their website:
MO-MO-PARADISE opened its doors in 1993 in Shinjuku Kabukicho as an all-you-can-eat specialty restaurant for Shabu-Shabu and Sukiyaki. Over the past 30 years, it has evolved into a global brand, expanding its presence primarily across Asia. Our goal is to spread the concept of “More and More, a Paradise of Dedication” throughout the world.
Reservations:
According to their website, there are two options for making a reservation. Visit the location-specific page for the restaurant you’d like to visit, where you’ll find the “Reservation” option at the bottom of the page with two links. If you have a Club Wonder account, you can use that, but I’m not sure what it is personally. For those without a Club Wonder account, select the second option (Reserve w/Table Check). This reservation system is simple and user-friendly. You’ll need to enter details about your desired reservation date/time/party size, then choose the course you’d like for your visit. The primary difference between the courses is the quality and variety of proteins available. The reservation page also allows you to convert the text to English, so take the time to read through it and choose the course that suits you. Afterward, enter your personal information at the bottom. Thankfully, you can use a phone number from nearly any country.
Walk-ins:
I’ve visited Mo-Mo in Asakusa and Shinjuku (Higashi-guchi location) and didn’t have any trouble walking in, though I might have gotten lucky. If you want to be sure of getting in or if you have a party larger than 4, I recommend making a reservation, as it can get busy.
Accepted Forms of Payment:
Cash or credit card.
Special notes:
How does the ordering system work?
- On top of providing you general assistance, the staff are responsible for taking your protein orders and bringing them to your table. Otherwise, the rest of the food/drinks you might want are self-serve.
- Soup options can be seen in the pictures below, you are allowed to select one or two of them.
